PierGroupDance was begun in 2002 to explore choreographic ideas and artistic collaborations with a number of peers from various art forms and artistic points of view. To date we have created over 60 works primarily in the areas of concert dance, theater, and opera, but also participating in gallery art, education, and scientific research. It has been our great fortune to work with a vast number of artists including dancers,  musicians, composers, singers, designers, writers, chemists, and a chef. We are dedicated to the idea that creativity and communication in all of its many forms are essential aspects of our existence.
